The playoff seeds and match ups for this year’s California Community College Athletic Association Northern California Regional baseball playoffs have been released.
The Coast South Conference Champion and No. 8 seed Rams (23-12) will take on No. 9 Cosumnes River College (23‐13) in a best-of-three series at Gavilan College.
The series kicks off at 2 p.m. Friday. Gavilan And CRC will play again at 11 a.m. Saturday and Game 3, if necessary, will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of Game 2.

Stofer, Heredia head to state
Gavilan’s Jessica Stofer and Raelynn Heredia punched their tickets to the inaugural CCCAA State Sand Volleyball Championships with a thrilling victory in the regional playoffs Thursday.
Stofer, an Anzar alum, and Heredia, a graduate of San Benito High School, defeated Foothill College 2-1 with a come from behind victory.
Stofer and Heredia will kickoff state playoff action at 10 a.m. Friday and continue play through Sunday.
