Gavilan Rams

Natalie Armstrong put up 19 points for Gavilan Friday, but it just wasn’t enough.
The Rams dropped their third straight contest, falling 85-66 to Feather River College in their home opener. 
Armstrong was a perfect 3 for 3 from the line and added four rebounds, an assist and a steal.
Feather River had built up a 47-29 lead at the half. The Rams hung tough after the break, scoring 37 points to the the visitor’s 38, but it wasn’t enough to erase their first half deficit.
Felicia Lee-Caradenas scored 17 points for the Rams, went 9 for 11 from the line and had four steals in the game. 
Gavilan will be back in action at 6 p.m. Wednesday to host Skyline.

Rams open playoffs at Modesto
The Coast Conference champions are ready to get the playoffs underway.
Gavilan will play Round 1 of the NorCal Playoffs at Modesto at 7 p.m. today.
