Tasmin Apple continues to shine as one of the best attackers in the Coast Conference. 
Apple led Gavilan with 12 kills in its 3-0 sweep of Ohlone Saturday at home. The Rams won 25-20, 25-16, 25-16 to improve to 17-6 overall and 7-0 in conference. 
Sabina Gerard had 29 assists, two kills and an ace in the contest. Karina Daniels and Raelynn Heredia had four kills a piece, while Brittani Siaz added two. 
Gavilan will be back in action at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Foothill College.

West Valley tops Rams
West Valley’s three first half goals proved too much for Gavilan Saturday.
The Rams’ two-game winning streak was snapped as they fell 3-1 to West Valley at home. Stats from this game were not yet available.
Gavilan now sits at a 5-11 overall record and 3-7 in league. The team will be back in action at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Cabrillo College.
