The San Benito High girls golf team wrapped up its regular season on Monday at the Corral De Tierra Country Club in Salinas, where the Lady Balers carded a 211 in a three-team dual meet with Salinas and Notre Dame.

In their dual with the Spirits, the Lady Balers won 211-219. But against a powerful Cowboys squad, San Benito’s 211 didn’t add up as Salinas recorded a 165 behind medalist Taylor Camany.

Camany carded a par 36 on the front nine of Corral, leading the Cowboys to an easy victory.

Meanwhile, Jenny Glosser led the Lady Balers with a 52, while Jordan Davies, LaShea Dailey and Emiley Palmquist each compiled matching scores of 53 to round out San Benito’s scoring.

Morgan DeDomenico had a 54 for the Lady Balers, while Alexis Sanchez added a 64.

San Benito will now prepare for the Tri-County Athletic League Tournament. Head coach Chris Branon will conduct four days worth of qualifiers beginning on Tuesday, where 19 players will vie for just six varsity spots and a chance to represent San Benito at the year-end league tournament.
