The fire destroyed part of the shopping center next to the Goodwill site.

The Hollister Goodwill store is preparing to move into the former home of Ace Hardware just across the Highway 25 bypass.
Goodwill has pulled sign and tenant improvement permits, according to Hollister Building Division personnel. Goodwill is preparing to move from its current location at 550 Tres Pinos Road to the new home in the Rite Aid shopping center at 1707 Airline Highway.
Goodwill is relocating after Grocery Outlet agreed to eventually move into the Tres Pinos Road thrift store site. Next door to the current Goodwill and Hi Outlet shops, Dollar Tree recently reopened after a closure since a December 2013 fire destroyed the building.
A Goodwill spokeswoman could not be reached immediately to confirm a planned opening date for the new location.
Look back for more.
