Wie Column Hits Mark
CALLER 1: (In response to Marc David’s column Sept. 9 “First Things First for Young Wie.”) I am with you sir, and I think this comic show has run its course. If Michelle the “capitalistic mechanism” of Mr. Wie is not sure what game she is playing or has run out of people to blame for her misadventures, fantasies or perversions, then the players should stop this political correctness nonsense and tell the league to STOP.

I thought about somebody on the bubble but at home this weekend reading about this nonesense. Reading what she said …Ryder Cup, no male league and all, I agree with her but then Ryder Cup means top 10, and to play you earn it or qualify for it every week. So she should go on and qualify on Monday to start this trip to the top 10 on the PGA …or go to class and learn how to read and write …and call up Annika and LISTEN. Annika did this and decided there was no point and Tiger tried it at 16 and said he learned a lot but Michelle is looking for another excuse ..very teenage!

Really stop this nonsense and go learn how to dream Michelle. It’s different from fantasy.

GREEN PHONE: And …

CALLER 2: I could not agree more. I will be beside you following a golfer that might actually be staying for the weekend and not checking out Friday afternoon. If I want to watch someone stink up the course… I’ll tee it up myself.

GREEN PHONE: Ho hum, Wie missed another cut (by 13 shots) and we had to read four paragraphs down to find out that Ryan Moore and Ben Curtis were the halfway leaders for the 84 Lumber Classic, 23 shots ahead of her. Good luck against the ladies, Michelle.
