Anzar High survived a grueling road test Tuesday night, outlasting Soledad 25-16, 14-25, 22-25, 25-22, 15-3 in a Mission Trail Athletic League volleyball match.

The Hawks are now 5-1 in the MTAL and 7-8 overall.

Treva Crocker had 17 kills for the Hawks, along with four blocks. Emily Deleissegues had 13 assists, four kills, two aces and seven digs, while fellow setter Amy Knight had 14 assists, three kills, an ace and six digs.

Suzie Garcia contributed seven aces.

The Hawks are at Carmel this Thursday.
