The Anzar High baseball team’s two scheduled games this week against Pajaro Valley and Silver Creek were both postponed due to wet conditions.

On Monday, the Hawks were slated to open their 2009 season at Pajaro Valley, although the game was rained out. Anzar manager Andrew Barragan said the game has been tentatively rescheduled for April. No date has been announced.

Monday’s heavy rains then postponed Anzar’s second game at Silver Creek on Tuesday, after it was deemed the fields were unplayable from the wet weather. That game has been rescheduled for next Thursday, March 5, at Silver Creek High.

First pitch will be at 3:30 p.m.
