A Chevy Impala traveling on Bloomfield Avenue pulled in front of a GMC Sierra pick-up truck Thursday afternoon resulting in a collision that led to a Calstar life flight, explained a California Highway Patrol officer.
Three parties were transported to the San Jose Regional Medical Center, two by ground and one by Calstar for “complaints of pain,” CHP Officer Amy Tritenbach told the Free Lance Friday.
“It appears that a party pulled out,” said Tritenbach, referring to the Chevy Impala. The accident occurred at about 3:30 p.m., she said.
Talks of safety on Highway 25 rekindled in mid-June when two Hollister residents died just days apart in accidents that closed the highway.
