Bull Riding will be back in town when Bolado Park hosts the third annual Hollister Professional Bull Riders Enterprise Rent-A-Car Tour beginning at 6 p.m. on Sept. 5, according to a press release from the event organizers.
The Hollister PBR is set to showcase some of the most promising rising stars of the PBR, along with fan favorites and veterans as the competitors face off against the most famous animal athletes in the business, according to the release. Some of the riders include the world’s second-ranked rider J.B. Mauney, along with Zack Brown, Kasey Hayes, Pistol Robinson, Luke Snyder and Reese Cates.
Prior to the main event, there will also be mutton busting for children 7 years old and younger beginning at 1 p.m. Then at 2 p.m., fans can come out and meet the riders and get autographs and enjoy live music, vendor booths, barbecue and a kiddie corral. Proceeds from the barbecue and the concessions will benefit local 4-H and Future Farmers of America groups.
The Tres Pinos School Parents Club will also be hosting a wine tasting event and silent auction at 3 p.m. The benefits will go toward the enrichment program at Tres Pinos School.
Along with top riders, the event will feature some of the “best bulls in the business,” including All In, Big Tex and Carillo Cartel.
