Anzar’s Jesse Ramirez led all scorers with 31 points, while Nick Salgado and Andres Gomez tacked on 15 points and 11 points, respectively.

Vincent Giacomazzi led Trinity with 18 points, while Eric Choi added 12 for the Warriors, who fall to 2-10 in the Coastal Athletic League, 4-15 overall.

Meanwhile, the Hawks, who have won four straight games since falling to Pacific Collegiate on Feb. 2, wrap up the regular season with a 9-3 record in the CAL, 10-9 overall.

The team finishes in second place in league, three games ahead of third-place Anchorpoint Christian in the loss column. Pacific Collegiate, meanwhile, earned the CAL crown after running the table to a perfect 12-0 record.

Anzar will now wait to hear its seeding and matchup in next week’s Central Coast Section Division V Championships.

“We’re looking forward to the seeding meeting Sunday,” Anzar head coach Ed Cecena said.
