The Anzar High girls basketball team picked up its second win of the season when it defeated visiting KIPP San Jose Collegiate 25-13 in non-league action on Monday.

Behind six points apiece from Delaney McKinney, Melissa Weckerle and Brittany Doty, the Hawks improved to 2-10 on the season, in what was their first game back from the holiday break.

Anzar previously lost to Pajaro Valley on Dec. 20.

The Hawks will now open Coastal Athletic League play on Wednesday when they will travel to Morgan Hill to take on Oakwood. Tip-off is 6:30 p.m.
