Mountain View Art & Music Festival
Silicon Valley’s World-Class Art & Music Festival is a vibrant multicultural celebration featuring 600 professional artists and craftmakers showing exceptional handcrafted wares, stellar live music on stage and street throughout downtown from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 7-8 on Castro Street between El Camino Real and Evelyn Avenue in Mountain View. Renaissance Faire
The Northern California Renaissance Faire’s “Find Your Fantasy” will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday from Sept. 14-Oct. 13 at Casa de Fruta, 10031 Pacheco Pass Highway. $25 at the gate; children 12 and under will be admitted free the entire run of Faire.
Comedy night

Steam Fair and Harvest Festival
Kinetic Steam Works and Roaring Camp Railroads present The Steam Fair and Harvest Festival Oct. 12-13. Ride the steam train to Bear Mountain. Children with a train ticket may take home a pumpkin from the mountaintop patch. Trains depart for Bear Mountain at 11 a.m., 12:30 pm and 2 p.m. $26 adults and $19 children (2-12 years).
