Dear Editor,

Most of the investors of the proposed Casino Project are not from San Benito County, and neither is the Miwok Indian Tribe.

It seems to me the most logical and beneficial thing for them to do would be to apply more emphasis on building in Santa Clara County, (where the investors seem to be from), or the county in which the Miwoks live.

Better yet, all tribes wanting to build casinos and are going “reservation shopping,” should have a combined Web site and invite cities and counties to contact them, if they would like to have them build a casino in their areas. I would like to see how many areas would invite them, instead of non-local people trying to push what they want into the lives of others.

What a concept, eh? Being able to invite a casino, to your own community! It’s a thought they should book into.
