How can killing ever be rationalized? How can the use of gruesome weapons like cluster bombs, white phosphorus and radioactive depleted uranium be rationalized? How can a country that went to war to remove such weapons rationalize the use of these same weapons?
How can a country that removed Saddam Hussein because he tortured rationalize torture? How can a country spread democracy when democratically elected leaders are removed or corrupted? How can a country despise theocracy yet partner with it at home? How can a country promote clean air, clean water and clean soil when war destroys the environment? How can war be good for any economy when natural resources are wasted on destruction?
How can the story of the Prodigal Son be distorted with labeling when it is a story of forgiveness? How can we be a country of liberty and justice for all when we are filled with vengeance and fear?
