Jessica Steigleman was 3-for-4 with three RBI, Powell was 2-for-3 with two RBI and Jessica Vest contributed a 2-for-4 day with three runs batted in, including a two-run homer.

San Benito then followed its convincing nine-run win with a 5-1 victory over Valley Christian.

Vest continued to hit, going 3-for-3 with two runs scored, while both Clayton and Marissa Adame helped the Lady ‘Balers with 2-for-2 days. Bre Fata added a two-run double as well.

Ibarra once again dominated on the mound when she allowed just one run on two hits over six innings of work. She finished with nine strikeouts and two walks.

San Benito (3-1 TCAL) will return to Tri-County Athletic League play on Tuesday when the Gilroy Mustangs visit for a league showdown at 4:30 p.m.
