Flooding occurred along San Benito Street near the high school area during the December storm.

The latest, available storm totals for San Benito County show the highest measurement for the area at 3.76 inches of rain in the past two days.
The National Weather Service’s latest available rain totals show that measurement of 3.76 inches of rain as of 7:22 a.m., 2.1 miles east of Hollister.
Other rain totals for the county included: 
• 3.75 inches 0.5 miles south of San Juan Bautista at 9 a.m.
• 3.62 inches 11 miles north of Gonzales at 5:06 a.m.
• 3.32 inches six miles north of Hollister as of 9:27 a.m.
• 2.45 inches seven miles north of Soledad as of 9 a.m.
• 2.1 inches at Pinnacles National Park as of 8:37 a.m.
• 1.45 inches 19 miles northeast of King City as of 9:07 a.m.
