Last week’s editorial, “Keep the Rally Rolling” was a breath of fresh air in the ongoing argument about whether the Hollister Rally should continue to be. I couldn’t agree more.
The City Council should have an open enough mind to give the new proposals a chance to succeed, provided their concerns are addressed and provisions are in place to remedy them.
Perhaps the City Council would benefit from seeing what the rally was really like by screening the Official Hollister Rally DVD instead of buying into the tired hearsay and false reports from the anti-rally contingent. I’d be more than happy to do so if they are interested.
