I would like to suggest that before erasing the beautiful and
heart-warming memorial (on Union Road) to Jon Foshee, that city and
county officials first erase all of the real graffiti that is
plaguing our local street signs and walls.

I would like to suggest that before erasing the beautiful and heart-warming memorial (on Union Road) to Jon Foshee, that city and county officials first erase all of the real graffiti that is plaguing our local street signs and walls.
If all graffiti were as artistic as this memorial, then we wouldn’t have a problem.
We should encourage and challenge all local folks who enjoy “tagging” our city with illegible names and slogans to come together and try to top what Jon Foshee’s friends have done for him.
Graffiti isn’t always bad, but only erasing the good graffiti while leaving the bad to fester and multiply certainly sends the wrong message as to what we deem acceptable in our community.
