I am writing this letter on how the voting process for elections was done by the city and county. I don’t feel it was done correctly, I have freedom of speech to say that, and how I was treated as a candidate by the city and county. The process was not done properly and fairly.  The county could not handle the votes that were processed by absentee ballots and regular voting at the polls.
Dear Editor,
I am writing this letter on how the voting process for elections was done by the city and county. I don’t feel it was done correctly, I have freedom of speech to say that, and how I was treated as a candidate by the city and county. The process was not done properly and fairly.  The county could not handle the votes that were processed by absentee ballots and regular voting at the polls.
Towards the end of the election I was calling to check on the absentee ballots, and was treated very rudely. The day of the election I was hung up on there was no professionalism in this election, which makes people not want to vote. The city was not fair, when I went under oath I thought I would be treated equally and there would not be any favoritism which there was. Not the one that won the election but others.  Also when I put out my signs from day one and I called city elections the person in charge to let them know they were out, they already knew exactly where all my signs were. How would they know that? After that I started noticing weird vehicles following me around town, which I was not informed I would be having people following me when I signed up to run for mayor. I also had a lot of signs missing; out of 200 signs 155 signs are gone. When I mentioned it to the code enforcement officers and the city, they didn’t know anything. The city I used to live in also had this same behavior. I see the same pattern here, I will be giving a reward if someone knows anything or seen anything on who did this. Please email me [email protected]. This really hurts my heart how people could be so cruel.
I want people to know that there are two parts in this story. I will still be close with the city, I still want to be a part of my city and help out in any way I can. I am still in contact with Robert and I’ve talked with bill twice through conference meetings and we will soon meet. I told bill I have a lot of things to offer and he said he likes what he hears and I would have been a good mayor if I was elected, I know about business and I want to bring business to our city, I will never give up. I told Bill, next election I will do things differently. Such as paying more attention to my surrounding and keeping an eye on my signs and I have a better outlook this time around. I want to be effective in the city, have better comprehension and have better skills, I have resources to offer. If the mayor is a man of his word like I said, I will give to our city more than ever my ideas. So we can grow and implement things that will not hurt the people but help the people. One thing I do want to say to the businesses is that the stores such as grocery stores and Kmart, Rite Aid and Target should be open until 11 p.m. especially now during the holidays. I think that would be a good idea even if it’s ONLY during the holidays. Thank you! Happy Holidays to all and God bless! I hope you had a good veterans day I know that day means a lot to a lot of people including myself.
