The presentation was Thursday in Pleasanton.

The Milk-Bone brand and Raley’s partnered to make a service dog donation to Rosa Zuno of Hollister, seen at left at the ceremony in Pleasanton last week.

She was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 11. A certified trainer will introduce her to a representative service dog. Canine Assistants is involved and is a nonprofit organization that provides service dogs to people with various disabilities, at no cost to the recipient.

It takes up to two years to train each dog with the cost and care of these specially trained dogs exceeding $20,000.

See more on Zuno and her new dog in a future edition of The Pinnacle.
