San Benito County Fair Manager Kelley Ferreira previously retired and came back to work part time.

San Benito County’s longtime fair manager, Kelley Ferreira, is set to retire at the end of the year, according to an announcement from the 33rd Agricultural District.
Ferreira is set to retire and end his career as the longest-running, continuous fair manager in the state. Ferreira joined the county fair as manager in 1986. In December 2011, he retired as a full-time state employee – to save the local district money – and was rehired as a part-time manager.
Planning is under way for a December celebration of Ferreira’s career. For those interested in making a contribution to the celebration, reach Jeana Arnold at [email protected] or at (831) 207-2227.
