Criminal Sentencings

San Benito County Judge Steven Sanders

Guadalupe Zapien, 27, of Hollister, was sentenced to five days in county jail, three months in a first-time offender DUI program and three years of probation, and fined $2,012 for drunken driving, a misdemeanor.

Mark Anthony Silva, 29, of Hollister, was sentenced to 35 days in county jail and three years of probation, and fined $1,890 for a misdemeanor alcohol infraction while driving.

Civil Lawsuits

Jairo Martinez filed a civil suit against Efren Lopez Jr., Lina Villegas and Ricky Villegas alleging motor vehicle property damage and personal injury, and seeking more than $25,000.

Medical Air Transport Inc. filed a civil suit against D.K. Turbines L.L.C. alleging breach of contract and seeking more than $25,000.

Seal Rock Inc. filed a civil suit against Network Investment Group Inc. alleging breach of contract and seeking more than $25,000.

Watsonville Hospital Corp. filed a civil suit against Fabiola G. Perez alleging collections and seeking $46,533.
