Sweep picks up 13 suspects linked to gang activity
Morgan Hill police combined forces with area law enforcement agencies to arrest 13 residents on a variety of charges during a parole and probation sweep targeting street gang activity last Friday.
Chamber gives Velazquez highest rating among candidates for mayor
The San Benito County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau has rated Ignacio Velazquez with the most "stars" as a candidate for mayor and also supports Measure E, the proposed extension to the 1 percent sales tax in Hollister, according to an announcement made this week.
