New stamp upsets local tribe

When sightseers tour the centuries-old Spanish mission tucked off Highway 1 in Carmel-by-the-Sea, it’s likely they’ll admire the red-tiled roofs, the chapel’s aesthetic facade, the prominent dome bell tower, the exquisite gardens or the vast collection of liturgical art.

Eleanor

Hello there! My name is Eleanor (85923) and I'm an awesome older gal searching for my forever home and family. I am a super-duper cat who really has it all. I love to play when you wiggle a toy just right. I love to curl up in your lap or another cozy spot and get tons of petting. I also enjoy having my lovely coat brushed. When I'm really happy I'll make little muffins with my paws to show my love! I'm easy going and tolerant, too--nothing seems to phase me. If you have room in your heart for the perfect all-around cat, look no further! I am currently available for adoption at HSSV's Satellite Adoption Center inside of PETCO Saratoga (El Paseo de Saratoga).

POTW: Trudy

Meet Trudy (78971), a 6 year-young Dalmatian mix with brains and beauty. Whether she’s playing with other dogs or cruising the dog park in search of people to pet her, Trudy is the life of the party. Though Trudy is deaf, she has learned basic commands through hand signals and will do almost anything for a treat which makes training enjoyable for both her and her person. Trudy is living in a foster home while available for adoption so please call to schedule a date with her; you just might fall in love. (408) 262-2133
