Letter: Thanks for support of Holte Holiday Dinners in 2012
It is at this time that we wish to thank you for your coverage of the Holte Holiday Diners. With your support and that of many volunteers we were able to meet expenses as well as serve over 500 people a Christmas dinner of turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, dressing, tri tip, and dessert. This could not have been the huge success it was without the help of scores of volunteers and organizations that made it possible. Those who helped included: Mike and Allison Sicoli - Round Table Pizza, San Juan Bautista Rotary, Bob Stone - Tri Way Meats, San Benito County Cattleman’s Association, Napa Auto Parts, Sacred Heart Church , Presbyterian Church, St. Luke’s Church, Pansona, Mansmith B-B-Q, San Benito High School, Father Rudy, Marich Confectionary, Top Hatters of Hollister, Frank Scalmanini, Kay Filice – Filice Farms, Holte Executive Board. We apologize if anyone or an organization was omitted. Thanks again for every ones support in making the dinner a huge success!
Letter: Hoping Republicans become the minority in houses
Every Republican in the House voted to replace Medicare with a voucher system. This benefits insurance companies, Super American Citizens, at the expense of Real American Citizens who see the doctor, stay in the hospital, need real medical attention. Every Republican in the House voted to cut benefits for Real Citizens, medical benefits for women, instead of cutting benefits to oil companies, Super Citizens, to pay for the Student Loan Program. We can hope that Real Citizens have the wisdom to let Republicans become the Minority in the House and the Super Minority in the Senate. Real Citizens vote June 5 and November 6.                   Â

Letter: McCullough for hospital board
As a long time friend of Mary McCullough, I am writing this letter in support of her re-election to the Board of the San Benito Health Care District.  Mary has served on the board for 32 years, providing countless hours of work and leadership supporting the hospital district. Her energy and dedication to the District have been unmatched over her years of service.
