Farney graduates Marine boot camp
PFC Tyler James Farney, Age 19, of Hollister graduated from
United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot
in San Diego on Oct. 2. PFC Farney successfully completed 13 weeks
of intensive basic training at MCRD San Diego as one of 90 recruits
in Training Platoon 2110.

PFC Tyler James Farney, Age 19, of Hollister graduated from United States Marine Corps boot camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot in San Diego on Oct. 2. PFC Farney successfully completed 13 weeks of intensive basic training at MCRD San Diego as one of 90 recruits in Training Platoon 2110.
Following ten days home on leave, he will report to Camp Pendleton for one month at Military Combat Training then onward to Dam Neck, Va. for his Military Occupation Specialty School. He is the son of Brian and Susan Farney, who reside in Hollister. His brothers, Devin and Dale and grandparents Larry and Marilyn Martin also reside in Hollister and his grandmother Glenny Farney resides in San Juan Bautista.
