Drugs, guns and stolen property were recovered and two men were arrested after the Hollister Police Department conducted a search warrant last week on a home suspected of being used to sell narcotics.
According to an announcement from the police department:
Officers from the Hollister Police Department had been conducting an investigation into alleged drug sales occurring at a home located on the 200 block of Westside Blvd.
Officer Miguel Masso was able to obtain a search warrant for the home. Agents from the Unified Narcotic Enforcement Team (UNET) and the San Benito County Sherriff Deputies assisted the Hollister Police Department in serving the search warrant on Feb. 5.
The search recovered methamphetamine, marijuana and a stolen handgun. Police also recovered a large amount of money and other stolen property in the home.
The resident, Ramon Larios Lucatero, 50, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance while armed, possession of a controlled substance for sale, transportation of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana for sale, felon in possession of a firearm and keeping a place for the use of sales of controlled substance.
Anthony Campa, 34, was arrested outside the home and he was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Additionally charges of visiting a place where controlled substances are being used and sold were referred to the District Attorney’s Office.
Both suspects were transported to the San Benito County Jail where they were later released on bail.
