Liquors on the 200 block of Hawkins, took a case of beer and walked
out of the store.
ARRESTS

Obstruction, Athena Way

At 4 a.m. on Monday, police responded to a report of suspicious circumstances on the 300 block of Athena Way. Police visited an abandoned where there were possible alcohol violations involving juveniles. When talking with the juveniles, one of them became combative with police. He was arrested and booked into juvenile hall.

Trespassing, West Street

At 1 p.m. on Friday, a 28-year-old Hollister man trespassed onto his ex-girlfriend’s parents’ property on the 900 block of West Street. Two days prior, the suspect was cited and released by police after not obeying an order to stay off the property. When the suspect arrived at the residence, the police were called and he was arrested and booked into the county jail.

Vandalism, Rancho Drive

At 10:30 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to the 1200 block of Rancho Drive on the report of a broken car window. Police didn’t say how or what caused the broken window but witnesses said an 18-year-old Hollister female broke the window. She was arrested and booked into the county jail.

CRIMINAL COMPLAINTS

Vehicle theft, Scenic Drive

At 11:40 p.m. on Saturday, a vehicle was stolen from a residence on the 1900 block of Scenic Drive. No suspect information was available.

Theft, Hawkins Street

At 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, a known suspect walked into Lynn’s Liquors on the 200 block of Hawkins, took a case of beer and walked out of the store. While he hasn’t been contacted by police, the suspect was identified through surveillance tapes.

Battery on person, San Juan Road

At 10:55 p.m. on Thursday, an unknown suspect punched a victim in the face at the Quik Stop parking lot on the 1300 block of San Juan Road. After being hit, the victim threatened to call the police and the suspect left after threatening the victim.

Grand theft, Spring Drive

A little after 5 a.m. on Friday, stereo equipment and electronics worth more than $400 were stolen from an unlocked vehicle on the 600 block of Spring Drive. No suspect information was available.
