Possession of a deadly weapon, Terra Cita Court

At 10:59 a.m. on Sunday police on Terra Cita Court made a routine traffic stop. When the car had halted the driver began to flee the scene, but responded to verbal commands to return to his vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed a set of brass knuckles with a stun gun attachment.

Suspicious person, Tres Pinos Road

Police responding to a report of a suspicious person the parking lot of San Benito Bank at 12:42 a.m. on Thursday located an individual with a backpack in the area. The man advised the officers that he had an unloaded handgun in his backpack. The suspect was arrested and booked into the county jail.

Suspicious Fire, San Benito Street

The Hollister Police Department and Hollister Fire Department responded at 4:45 a.m. Sunday morning to a suspicious fire at an abandoned red-tagged house on the 1100 block of San Benito Street.

Speed exhibition, Airline Highway

At 10:20 a.m. Monday police officers at Airline Highway and Union Road observed a vehicle moving with excessive speed and using breaking tire traction (peeling out). Officers stopped and cited the driver.
