A new, published book recounts the history of biker lore with an emphasis on Hollister and the events of July 1947.
The University of North Carolina Press has published “Born to Be Wild”—a book written by Texas Tech University associate professor of history Randy McBee.
The Wall Street Journal published an extensive review of the book—and its emphasis on Hollister—in Saturday’s Review section.
The book, published July 1, is 376 pages and retails for $35.
