“I was proud of our effort and how the ladies fought until the finish,” said coach Mike Girardi. “The game could have become really ugly with the other team full court pressing the entire game and two of our starters still hurting from Wednesday night’s win.”
Gavilan is 11-9 overall and 3-5 in conference play. Foothill is 17-10 for the season and 8-0 in conference.
Gavilan will play its final home game of the season Wednesday at 7 p.m. against De Anza College.
