Red Cross, Leal to host benefit Friday for Philippines disaster

The local chapter of the American Red Cross is hosting a “Pizza for a Purpose” event Friday to raise money for those affected by the typhoon in the Philippines.
All of the proceeds from the event at Leal Vineyards, 300 Maranatha Drive, will go to the effort. The price is a $20 donation for the event from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Grand Barrel Room.
