The First Presbyterian Church Bell Choir will perform in a
Christmas concert Saturday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. at the church, located
at San Benito Street and Cienega Road.
The First Presbyterian Church Bell Choir will perform in a Christmas concert Saturday, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m. at the church, located at San Benito Street and Cienega Road.
The free concert, part of the Hollister Business Professionals’ Concerts for Charity, will also feature brass instruments, the Bayside Community Choral, solos, duets and quartets.
The group started the concert series after the events of Sept. 11, 2001, to “re-kindle hope in the hearts of our community and to improve and encourage the unfortunate,” said Nancy McDowell of the Hollister Business Professionals.
An offering will be taken during the concert with proceeds benefitting the United Way of San Benito County.
