A few days ago the commissioner of the National Basketball
Association introduced a new dress code for all of its players. The
new regulations were put into place in order to make the ball
players appear professional at times when they were not in
uniform.

A few days ago the commissioner of the National Basketball Association introduced a new dress code for all of its players. The new regulations were put into place in order to make the ball players appear professional at times when they were not in uniform.
After looking at the photograph of the San Benito High School teacher on the front page of the Oct. 20 Free Lance, I have to believe that the local high school district also needs a dress code for its staff of instructors. This photograph clearly shows a need to upgrade the appearance of those individuals who should be role models in our public schools. This shows a complete lack of professionalism and I think that the taxpayers deserve more.
