ANNIVERSARIES
Fellows celebrate 50 years WITH PHOTO
The children of Norma and Dale Fellows celebrated their parents 50th anniversary with a family dinner at Mama Mia’s in Morgan Hill on Jan. 6, 2007. Norma and Dale were married in Gilroy on Jan. 5, 1957 at the old Presbyterian Church and made Gilroy their home for more than 34 years before moving to Pomeroy, Wash. in 1991.
Norma’s sister, Peggy Kroeger (maid of honor) from Shady Cove, Ore. and Dale’s brother, James Fellows (best man) from Santa Cruz were a few of the 50-plus family members in attendance. Also attending were the couple’s nine grandchildren – ranging in ages from 1 to 24.

Mr. and Mrs. Dom Nguyen of San Jose announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer, to John Richard Howard, son of Lourdes Reroma and Herbert Howard, of Morgan Hill.
The betrothed became acquainted in the early 1990’s while Jennifer was attending Presentation High School and John was attending Bellarmine College Prep. Jennifer is an engineer with Intel and John is a programmer for NVIDIA. A late summer wedding is planned for 2007 at the Mission Santa Clara.
HONORS
Justin L. Freitas
Army Pvt. Justin L. Freitas has graduated from the Power-Generation Equipment Repairer Advanced Individual Training (AIT) course at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Aberdeen, Md.
The course is designed to train soldiers to perform unit, direct support or general support maintenance functions on power-generation equipment. This includes repair and overhauling internal combustion engines, tactical utility, precise power generation sets and other associated equipment.
Freitas is the son of John R. and Tammy F. Freitas of Hollister.
The private is a 2005 graduate of San Benito High School, Hollister.
Alexa Duda
Alexa Duda of Gilroy made the 2006 fall semester Dean’s list at the University of Portland. Duda is a junior majoring in secondary education.
Students need at least a 3.5 GPA to make the list.
UCSB students honored

Eric Littlejohn
Air Force Airman 1st Class Eric M. Littlejohn is serving in Southwest Asia on the front lines battling the Global War on Terrorism in direct support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
At an undisclosed operating location, the servicemember is assigned to the U.S. Central Command Air Forces collocated with the Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC). CAOC is an Air Force weapons system manned by more than 700 joint-service, U.S. and coalition airpower specialists from around the world.
The airman is a communications-computer systems control apprentice normally assigned to the 612th Air Communications Squadron, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Tucson, Ariz.
He is the son of Ray and Chris Littlejohn of South 10th St., Terre Haute, Ind., and Shawn Littlejohn of Greble St., Battle Creek, Mich. Littlejohn is a 2004 graduate of Union City High School, Mich.
His wife, Sarah, is the daughter of Barbara Saunders of College St., Hollister.
