WEDDINGS: Rocha/Thome: Sara Rocha and Nathan Thome were married May 26, 2013 at Leal’s Vineyard in Hollister.
Sara, daughter of Dave and Sue Rocha of Hollister, graduated from San Benito High School in 2004, the University of California Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in sociology and Westcoast University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Lucille Packard’s Children’s Hospital at Stanford.
Nathan, son of Jerry and Denise Thome of Hollister, graduated from San Benito High School in 2005 and the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. He is an architect at Weston Miles in Morgan Hill.
Cerruti/Racz
Victoria Marie Cerruti and Jared Michael Racz were married June 22, 2013 at San Juan Oaks Golf Club in Hollister.
Victoria, daughter of Robert and Sandra Cerruti of San Martin, attended San Jose State University and works in human resources in the computer software industry.
Jared, son of John and Linda Racz of Morgan Hill, attended California State University Monterey Bay and works in purchasing in the publishing industry.
After honeymooning in Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple will reside in the South Bay Area.

Avrielle Walker
Army Cadet Avrielle N. Walker has graduated from the Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps Leader’s Training Course at Fort Knox, Ky.
The course is a leadership internship for cadets that can lead to the ultimate goal of becoming an Army officer. College students experience and examine the Army without incurring an obligation to serve in the Army or ROTC, and are eligible to receive two-year college scholarship offers and attend the Advanced ROTC Course at their college.
Walker is a student at Talladega College, Ala. She is the daughter of Felicia and Charles Walker of Gilroy and a 2010 graduate of Gilroy High School.
Jessica Picone
Jessica Marie Picone, of Morgan Hill, has enrolled at Clemson University. Picone is majoring in food science. Picone is among more than 3,200 freshmen at Clemson for the fall semester.
Ranked No. 21 among national public universities, Clemson University is a major, land-grant, science- and engineering-oriented research university.
Matt Bergantz
Matt Bergantz, of Morgan Hill, a freshman, is a member of the Wisconsin Lutheran College football team, which will look to build on the best season in school history after going 7-3 in 2012. Coach Ben Murphy takes over for Dr. Dennis Miller, who retired after leading the program for 13 seasons.
Wisconsin Lutheran College is an independent Christian college in Milwaukee that is recognized for its academic excellence and Christian leadership tenets.
Lauretta Avina
Lauretta Avina has graduated magna cum laude with a double major bachelor’s degree in criminal and social justice and social science from Ashford University. Lauretta is currently a facilitator of court mandated victim awareness classes with Santa Clara County Juvenile Probation-Victim Services. She will attend graduate school in January at USC for her master’s degree in social work, with an emphasis on military families, families and children.
Marielle Marlowe
Marielle J. Marlowe, the daughter of Jay and Marcia Marlowe of Gilroy, was recently awarded membership to Sigma Alpha Lambda, a national leadership and honors organization at California State University Fresno. Marielle is an honors student (sophomore) majoring in pre-veterinarian science. Marielle is a 2012 graduate of Gilroy High School.
