Investigators with the San Benito County Sheriff’s Department are looking for a pair of robbers who may have pepperoni on their breath.

The two are wanted for attacking, beating and then robbing a pizza delivery man Monday night, the sheriff’s department said.

The victim, whose name was not released, was making a delivery on the 900 block of Foothill Road at about 10:25 p.m. when he was flagged down by two unidentified men, described as Caucasian males in their early 20s about 6 feet tall and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds. They were both wearing blue jeans and black boots, the sheriff’s department said.

The young men attacked the delivery man, beat him about the head and face and stole an undisclosed amount of money and some food items, the sheriff’s department said.

Anyone who knows the identity or whereabouts of the suspects is asked to cal Detective Dave Hackman at 636-4080.
