Names are drawn for the basket raffle from the Holiday Cheer Shop Hop on Dec. 4. 19 local shoppers won a basket full of prizes.

The Holiday Cheer Shop Hop brought out many consumers to local shops in San Benito County on Dec. 1. Local businesses made contributions to the 19 baskets that were raffled off during the shopping day – visitors to the shops had a chance to enter a ticket to win one of the 19 baskets. Kathina Szeto, of San Benito Bene, who helped to organize the event, said at least 89 businesses contributed to the baskets.

The organizers held a drawing and announced the 19 winners this week, noting where they can go to pick up their baskets.
