Authorities say a small plane crash-landed in the shallow water just north of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.

The U.S. Coast Guard says it rescued two people from the water after the single-engine plane went down just off the Emeryville shoreline around 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The two passengers were not seriously injured.

The Federal Aviation Administration says the Cessna Centurion plane had reported a loss of power before it crashed.
