The Anzar girls soccer team’s scheduled game against Gonzales on Wednesday was postponed after Gonzales was unable to field a full team.

No make-up date was announced.

Wednesday’s game was expected to be the Coastal Athletic League opener for both teams. For Anzar, though, it is the team’s second straight postponed game, as its mid-December match with Pajaro Valley was postponed as well due to inclement weather.

The Hawks (2-3-1) will instead try to open CAL play again on Friday, when they will host Georgiana Bruce Kirby in San Juan Bautista. Kickoff is 4 p.m.
