The San Benito boy soccer team ended its two-game losing streak Tuesday with a 3-0 victory over Palma. The win evens San Benito’s league record to 2-2-1.

The Balers scored three second-half goals to earn the victory. Ricardo Becerra got the scoring started with a goal in the 59th minute. Goals by Rigoberto Mariscal and Ricardo Roque clinched the Baler win.

AHS Soccer

The Anzar boys soccer team couldn’t keep pace with Pacific Grove on Tuesday and lost 4-0. Pacific Grove scored two goals in both the first and second half.

The loss sends the Hawks to 2-3 in the Mission Trail Athletic League.

Meanwhile, behind goals by Ali Bautista and Charlene Tomasini, the girls soccer team improved to 4-1 with a 2-0 win over York.

Anzar dominated the game, finishing with more than 20 shots on net.
