San Benito High’s boys soccer team was rewarded for its strong season when coaches recently voted a trio of Balers to the All-Monterey Bay League Pacific Division First Team.
Senior forward Ricardo Roque, senior midfielder Andreas Corona and sophomore midfielder Jose Lopez received first-team all-league honors. The Balers also had junior defender Eduardo Ojeda, junior defender Miguel Prado and junior forward Ricardo Bacerra named to the second team.
Corona received a Richard Chamberlin Sportsmanship Award.
MBL Pacific Most Valuable Player went to Alvarez junior forward Pedro Virgen.
