Heather Johnson, Kayla Medrano and Kari Bittle drove in three runs each to lead Gavilan College’s softball team to a 15-7 home win over the City College of San Francisco on Tuesday.

Bittle went 3-for-4 with two doubles, and Johnson and Medrano had two hits and scored two runs each for the Rams, who improved to 12-21 overall and 4-8 in the Coast Conference. Samantha Ribeiro had two RBIs for Gavilan, and teammates Olivia Barajas (three runs) and Elaina Vasquez added two hits each.

Vasquez, a sophomore third baseman from Gilroy High, set the Rams’ single-season home run record with a solo shot for her seventh homer of the season during a 6-5 home win over De Anza on March 28.
