SBHS golf fundraiser slated for April 25

The San Benito High boys’ golf team will host a fundraiser on Saturday, April 25 at the Diablo Course at the Ridgemark Golf and Country Club in Hollister. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $125 per person, or $500 for a foursome. Raffle prizes, a putting contest (separate fee of $5), a Tiger Hole ($5), a long-drive contest (included in cost) and a closest to the hole contest (included) will take place, as will a barbecue lunch to follow the round of golf. Barnstormers top South Bay Stallions

The Central Coast Barnstormers defeated the South Bay Stallions 24-7 and improved to 4-1 in the Northern California Football League.

Central Coast will return home Saturday when the Sacramento Cobras (3-2) visit the Garcia-Elder Sports Complex in Gilroy. Kick-off is at 6 p.m.
