Spring season set for Monterey Bay equity league
The 2012-13 high school sports season will be a little different for schools in Gilroy and Hollister. After more than two years of discussion, the 2012-13 season will be the first in an equity league between the former members of the Tri-County Athletic League and the Monterey Bay League.
A leader in the classroom and pool
After playing football, basketball and baseball during his freshman year at Palma High, Tanner Carrillo-Zazueta thought as long as he kept up with his grades, he was well on his way to the W.H. “Hank” Muller Outstanding Scholar Athlete Award, an award given to athletes who played sports and recieved good grades through four years of high school.
