For the sixth time this year, the San Benito finished in second place to Palma at a Tri-County Athletic League tournament on Tuesday at Old Del Monte Golf Course in Monterey.

Baseball: Balers split games against Mitty, Wilcox
After rain washed out San Benito’s baseball game against Wilcox on Tuesday at the Valley Christian Tournament, the Balers played a double header against Chargers and Archbishop Mitty on Wednesday. In those games, San Benito went 1-1, beat Wilcox 6-1 and losing to Mitty 2-1 in 11 innings.
