The summer Street Festival is adding a spicy twist to its attractions and name.
The Hollister Downtown Association announced the 29th annual event as the Street Festival, Car Show and Chili Cook Off.
The latter is an addition, with the local firefighters union taking it on.
According to the HDA announcement:
The Hollister Downtown Association (HDA) invites you to the 29th Annual Street Festival, Car Show and Chili Cook Off on Saturday, July 18 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in Historic Downtown Hollister!
This family-friendly event features over 200 show cars and specialty vehicles, free admission, free parking, free watermelon, a kid’s zone, food concessions, vendor booths, live entertainment, youth performances and more. New this year, the Hollister Firefighters Union is coordinating a chili cook off on the corner of Fourth and San Benito! Join us downtown for a great day of family fun.
