The meet came one day before Spring Break for both schools, though, and San Benito head coach Christine Schafer said Salinas was without many of its swimmers on the girls side.

In total, Schafer said, Salinas had just nine girls last Friday.

San Benito should expect a full Salinas squad in the TCAL Championships, though, which are scheduled for Saturday, May 14, at Everett Alvarez High School.

Prior to the year-end league meet, however, the Balers will have one last non-league dual against Seaside next Wednesday, April 27. Meet time is 3:30 p.m.
