The Balers continued to shuffle their roster. Audrey Marshall remained at the No. 1 single spot for the second match in a row. In a close match, Marshal lost in three sets, dropping the third set tiebreaker 10-7.

“It was a really close, tough match,” coach Ed Cecena said.

Ally Triolo lost her match in straight sets by identical scores of 6-2.

The Balers only wins came from Kelsey Slavich, who won in two sets, and Amanda Alvarez, who won in a close three-set match.

The team’s double pairs were swept despite changes to the partnerships. For the first time in this year, Annie Tobias was paired with Gianna Brigantino. The pair struggled though, losing in straight sets.

Makenzie Miguel and Berenice Bribiesca dropped their match in straight sets as well, losing in identical 6-1 scores.

In the final match of the day, the new pair of Rachel Logue and Tiffany Van Den Heuvel feel in straight sets with scores of 6-0 and 6-0.

The Balers host Watsonville on Tuesday at the Ridgemark tennis center. The matches will begin at 4 p.m.
